Sisters, Natives of Dodson, Die Two Days Apart
Mrs. Rilla Anders Moore, 88, of Dodson, died Wednesday night, March 4, 1971 at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston after a long illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro by the Rev. J. O. Payne. Burial was in the Transport Cemetery near Dodson.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Tumlin, Jonesboro, and Mrs. Dessa Warren, Winnfield; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Vicia Anders
Miss Vicia Anders, 72, of Jonesboro died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, 1971 in a hospital in Jonesboro after a brief illness. She became ill at 10 a.m. Friday while attending her sister's funeral. She was a native of Dodson.
Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Tumlin of Jonesboro and Mrs. Dessa Warren of Winnfield, and a nephew, Harrell Morrison of West Monroe.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmonds Funeral Home with Rev. J. O. Payne officiating. Burial was in Transport Cemetery near Dodson.
